Indigenous Health

The goals of the AIMED www.aimed.org.au site are to:

• connect Australian medical students with available elective and research opportunities in indigenous health
• detail feedback from students on their completed electives
• provide a forum for medical students and elective providers

AIMED aims to enable and inspire medical students to participate in indigenous health placements and research, in the hope that a positive voluntary experience as an undergraduate will promote involvement with indigenous health at a postgraduate level for improved health outcomes for indigenous Australians.
