Mt Gambier Obstetrics Weekend

The Rural Doctors Workforce Agency (in conjunction with the Limestone Coast Division of General Practice) organises this exciting opportunity for medical students from AURHA and FURHS.

The weekend program includes:

• Clinical skills stations (Antenatal Care/Intra Partum Care/Mock Delivery/IV Access/Neonatal Resuscitation/Intubation/Caesarian Instrumental)

• Visits to the Rural Clinical School and the local hospital labour ward

• Presentations and guidance from local proceduralists/specialists/rural practitioners

• Sunday winery tour

This trip is open to all members of AURHA in years 4, 5 and 6 of the medical course.
