Campfire
Campfire is the South Australian universities rural health forum, started in 2005 by students from AURHA, the Flinders University Rural Health Society and Rural Outlook for University Students Towards Allied Health (the UniSA rural health club). The key features of the forum are its multidisciplinary nature and relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Students from any South Australian university health course are welcome to attend, share their experiences and enthusiasm and learn about many aspects of rural health care.
The program includes guest speakers, skills sessions, social activities and opportunities for student presentations. Students from all clubs are encouraged to apply to present on their experiences, research projects or interests in a supportive and relaxed environment.
Campfire is held at a beautiful spot in rural South Australia and is a great way to spend a weekend!
